I genuinely don’t think any piece of media has made me so legitimately triggered more than the fucking Camping bit. In hindsight I wish I had just skipped through it on my first playthrough but I think I was just in shock when it started. It just pisses me off bc whenever I see people criticize how lgbtq rep is handled in the Persona series, CERTAIN people always clamber to be like “iT’s JuSt BeInG rEaLiStIc To ThE lIfE oF a TeEnAgE bOy In 2009”. Well I can say that when I first played it I WAS a teenage boy, and that scene literally triggered a panic attack so bad I had to put down the game for a few weeks. There is just 0 excuse that could justify that bit being in the game for me… even had they kept Yosuke’s romance route, the fact that as a player, you can’t do or say ANYTHING about his behavior in the tent is egregious- and the river scene just needs to be eradicated off the face of the fucking earth.
